#13 Describing Food
When thinking of my most memorable food, there is only one that comes to mind. I have consistently had it as my breakfast every single day for my entire life, and that is fried eggs. While I am not consistent at making them good all the time I just love how my parents make them. I love the consistency that the eggs always are. They aren't too solid to where it's like eating egg flavored Jell-O, but they also aren't too liquid where they are just too runny. I enjoy the soft bite that is the same all throughout the egg. I love that the yolk stays runny so that it can cover the cooked whites in it's distinct flavor. The slight amount of salt allows for the eggs to get a mouth watering flavor that to me is almost unmatched by any other breakfast option.
My parents haven't just made eggs by themselves. They also include a side of either two slices of bologna or two sausages fried in the same oil as the eggs. The fired sides both have a hint of the egg flavor to them that enhances their own flavor. To me this breakfast will always be my favorite and it will remain that way for years to come. Thank you for reading my small rant. I hope you have a great day!!
